Wellness, in a green oasis, to discover Cognac

After having stored the legendary Eau-de-Vie, it is in this storehouse located in the heart of the charming town of Cognac that we welcome you. We have opened our house to offer our guests an eco-friendly environment.

You can be sure of a warm welcome: Whoever you are, our “Travel Proud” and “Tourism and Handicap” labels testify of our approach and involvement with Everyone. As for the change of scenery, we have decorated our rooms with mainly antique furniture and objects, thus giving them a second life : chairs by Cyrillle Varet, known for his humanitarian commitment, a Dagobert armchair with caning by CAN ART TAL, Baumann armchairs revamped by Evelyne with the help of AERO TEK and La Sellerie Cognaçaise, bedsides in cardboard made locally by Lescartons de Lamie

The location of Suite en Terrasse allows our visitors to access the pedestrian streets of our magnificent old town where you will be conquered by the intimate atmosphere marked by the “hôtels particuliers” more numerous than in Paris!

Who we are ?

After busy professional careers and numerous trips that have opened us up to others, we have decided to act on a daily basis with enthusiasm, benevolence and solidarity to enable anyone to discover the treasures of the city of Cognac while preserving the planet.

Our aspiration for Suite en Terrasse is to make it a unique, colourful and soothing living space based on exchange… And through this project, we wish to act in the best possible way so that, little by little great things are possible and the world is made better.

As a family, we are committed to helping others, whether locally or abroad, to provide access to education for children, and more specifically for our mentee.

Evelyne

A rich and varied professional experience has developed in me the ability to organise and listen to others. My passion for this region has always guided me, which makes me loquacious. But I also know how to be discreet if you so choose…

And then I fell in love with an old storehouse where Cognac was aged and rehabilitated as a home . For the staging, furniture sometimes diverted, objects found (re-looked or not), with the help of crafts(wo)men that life put on our path. As I am eager to discover new things and learn about history, the time came to create a bed and breakfast. Like that I share my knowledge of the charming town of Cognac and its unusual places…

With Pascal in the kitchen and me on the logistics, we will make your visit a suspended parenthesis!

While rehabilitating smiles and relieving pain during my professional life, I have also developed a know-how around a passion-hobby : The Cooking.

My dexterity has only one goal today:. To seduce your taste buds by concocting good dishes using ingredients from our beautiful region.

A little discreet, I know how to share a recipe, Giving a trick or my good addresses to find local products that I propose to you to put in light in your plates and, also supported by Evelyne so that your stay is more in harmony with who you are.

“Soleil Levant”

The “Soleil LEVANT” guest suite on the 1st floor enjoys the soft light of the morning. Its air conditioning protects you from excessive temperatures. Its location gives direct access to the terrace and kitchen, bathed in sunshine. Here, you can enjoy a hot drink or a cup of coffee at any time of day, wrapped up in the plaids under the greenhouse or under the canopy of the sky, as you wish.

The roof-top terrace is a great place to relax after visiting the many tourist sites or after a stopover on the nearby Flow Vélo cycle route at Suite en terrasse à Cognac.

The “Vent d’OUEST” suite is located on the 1st floor. It is bathed in light at the zenith of the sun and its air conditioning ensures a peaceful night’s sleep.

The library lounge is the perfect place for our guests to relax and browse through the books on offer.

You’ll enjoy the exceptional setting of the large terrace hidden away in the town’s greenery, while being close to the Charente, Château François 1er and the Cognac Maisons, just a short walk from our guest house – that’s also the charm of Suite en terrasse in Cognac.
